Lenten Wednesday Services
Soup suppers at the Host Church will begin at 5:30 p.m. The Worship Service will begin at 6 pm.
The Host church is responsible for preparing a Worship bulletin, selecting music, providing an organist, having scripture readers, having ushers, and taking up the Offering. The Host church paster or representative is asked to provide a few words of welcome at the beginning of the Worship Service.
The Worship materials are now available. They will be delivered to you. The sample sermon is included, but you can prepare your own sermon. The Offering is for the Food Shelf the first 4 Wednesdays. The April 1 offering will be for MEMA. Thank you all for your willingness to assist in our Wednesday Lenten Services. May in all we do give glory to God!

Fill This Plate - Food Shelf
Dear Supporters of the Aurora Food Shelf,
We are contacting you because the Aurora Area Food Shelf is conducting its annual fundraising campaign. You generously supported our program in the past, and we are appealing to you this year. We continue to provide nutritional support to just about one out of every ten community residents.
We share with you statistics from 2019 and how you have helped us in the past: we served 2075 households, 1497 children, 2597 adults, 589 elderly. We collected 123,720 lbs. of food. Walmart provided 34,482 lbs. of food. Super One provided 9,092 lbs. of food.
Presently, we have a wonderful VOLUNTEER staff that provides for the area communities on Tuesday from 10 am - 1 pm on a weekly basis. Unlike some of the other communities, the Aurora Area food shelf is open once a week. Many of the food shelves in other areas are open twice a month or monthly only.
It is through your generous support and contributions, that we are able to continue to serve the Aurora Area, including: Aurora, Biwabik, Hoyt Lakes, Palo, and Markham.
Checks made out to "Aurora Food Shelf" can be sent to P.O. Box 433, Hoyt Lakes, MN 55750. Thank you most earnestly for considering our appeal for your support.
Respectfully and sincerely yours,
Aurora Area Food Shelf Committee
In the absence of a pastor...in the event of an emergency, please contact D. Maki.
